This means that the license key has reached the maximum limit of active domains at the same time, so you must first deactivate the license key from the old domain before activating it on the new one.
It can happen sometimes to work on a “test domain” and then move the project to the “official domain”. Or to activate the license key on an old domain and then decide to move the product to a new domain.
Well, the license key can be activated and deactivated without limits. This can be done in two ways:
- From your old domain go to the WordPress Dashboard in “Appearance-> Theme License” and click on the “Deactivate License” button. If you are using a plugin just go the options page plugin, find the section dedicated to the license key and click on the “Deactivate License” button.
- From your CrestaProject.com account. Just login on CrestaProject with your username and password, go in the “Purchase History” page, find your purchase and click on the “View Licenses” button. In this page you will find a “Manage License” button. Here you can see on which domain the license key is currently active and decide to deactivate it.
At this point the license key can be used on a new domain.
